Jimin felt a similar but unusual presence nearby, but he couldn't figure it out. He turned around but there was no one. "Oh well," he thought and returned back to his dorm room. He's family lived in the same city as of his college so it was easier for him to visit them. It was one of those big festivals of the city so him and his family went outside see them. It was a beautiful night with colorful lights everywhere with loud music and dance and great smell of delicious street food. Jimin was waiting for his family when suddenly he saw her, he saw her walk by on the other side.
"Hey!" he yelled, but she didn't hear him. "Avery!!" He called out again, but no answer. She didn't see him. All the loud music, dissolved his call and she walked away. He knew it was her, but he didn't know what to do. By that time Jimin's family had come and they had to leave.
Avery was enjoying a lot. The city was beautiful and nothing like she had ever seen before. The music, the food, the lights, everything felt new but it reminded so much home. The bonding, the closeness, it was amazing.
"Woah, look at that!" She said with excitement, and he turned around. Avery and Jimin was face to face in the busy crowd. His family was way ahead and Avery's friends too. In the midst of the crowd, all they could notice was each other. It was surreal.
'Hi Jimin," Avery said quietly.
"Hey," Jimin replied back, "What are you doing here?"
"Oh, I came here for my internship. I didn't expected to meet you here all of a sudden," said Avery with a shy laugh.
"Yeah! Same here, I'm shocked at the moment. Oh, internship huh? That's cool? Which company may I ask?"
"Umm, Merida Trust Company.."
"Oh my goodness! That's..that's the company that is affiliated with my college. I knew it, I was right! I did see you then, yesterday in college."
"Ohhhh, you did?" said Avery, acting surprised.
"Yeah! Hey-"
"Avery! Why are you there? Come here, we are about to leave!" One of Avery's friends called her back.
"Jimin! We are leaving, lets go!" Called Jimin's mom.
Both said bye to each other and left. Both of them felt weird, like a strange dream. Never did they thought that they would ever meet again. A new chapter of their life was following for them, something they never expected!
